Nice things from Boudin

Once in a while the sun shines down on us and gives us a kind of thumbs up for the day. Today is one of those days.

I had a sunny, gorgeous scooter ride to the office in Vancouver this morning, only to see that David Wolfgram ( CEO of Forklift Brands, which includes San Francisco’s Boudin Bakery and Go Roma concepts), gave us a big thumbs up in Accuvia’s June 3 2009 Food Tech Advisor. I really wasn’t expecting him to be there, explaining up why they work with my software company:

“ ‘Many catering apps only handle the front end and the operator has to do the back of house - which is cumbersome,’… but MonkeyCatering is seamless from order to production. Wolfgram feels technology has evolved so that applications focus on the customerfacing side, with similar front ends, but MonkeyMedia is unique in that it incorporates the back of house also. “

This kind of thing only makes you want to spread the other guys’ story too. And Boudin’s story is a great one:
