Sounds good, looks good

This video by stop animation artist PES is incredibly inventive and fun. It plays with our eyes and our expectations of food.

The expectations are maintained not just by these everyday things that look like food, but by the mouthwatering sound effects from a real kitchen.

Sound is a sense that is often overlooked, and it tells a great story; it can give a great experiential lift to your place.

Open kitchens broadcast the warmth of culinary industry. And some sounds, like street noise, may need to be muted.
